A side plug: GET A GRIP art show

Monday, June 1st, 2009

Krudco. and the Roc City Skatepark crew have gathered together 30+ artists from Rochester and around the country to throw down some art on grip tape as a benefit art show, and it’s called GET A GRIP. ALL of the artwork is only $25, and the money goes towards the Roc City Skatepark fund. It is a GREAT benefit, and a great way to get some sick inexpensive art.

Some artists who’ve shown with 1975 have also done some work for the show including (but not limited to) Sarah Rutherford, Lea Rizzo, Erich Lehman, Alan Presutti, and a host of others.

This show opens this Friday, the same as DEATH UNTO OUR ENEMIES. The good news is they are starting at 5pm, and our show will be undoubtedly running to around 10pm or later. You can TOTALLY hit up both shows. I hope you’ve been saving your pennies!

THIS FRIDAY! DEATH UNTO OUR ENEMIES

Monday, June 1st, 2009

This show is probably our most anticipated show to date! The work is amazing, and I think they’ve priced it very accessibly, i.e. you too can take home one of their amazing originals at a price that won’t break your wallet. There will be some screenprinted works available, too, and there’s even an amazing joint piece by Jet and Aidan Monahan for sale that ALL proceeds will be donated to Smiling Pitbull Rescue

Please join us this Friday for a truly great show!
